The commitment to promoting scientific research and innovation determines IGEA's attention to the vocational growth of young medical students, by awarding study grants, and training and updating qualified physicians by promoting highly rated courses and conferences.

IGEA rewards commitment in research & development

Every year IGEA awards a prise of three thousand euros to the best degree thesis by a young graduate of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The “IGEA Prize” emphasises the company’s desire to promote research, rewarding talented young people for their contribution to medicine and surgery.

Electroporation international course, Slovenia

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Institute of Oncology of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, will host the course "Electroporation based Technologies and Treatments, International SCIENTIFIC WORKSHOP and POSTGRADUATE COURSE" on 13-19 November 2011. The subject of the meeting will be electroporation of the cell membrane
