Dr Stefania Setti graduated in Physics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with a focus on Applied Physics - Thesis in Medical Physics SYRMEP Group (Synchrotron Radiation for Medical Physics) at Sincrotrone ELETTRA in Trieste with a mark of 105/110. She has been working at IGEA SpA since 2001 as Project Leader of Orthopaedics. She received the Award of Excellence Scientific Exhibit AAOS 2007 Annual Meeting ‘Effect Of Electrical Physical Stimuli On Articular Cartilage’ American Academy Of Orthopaedic Surgeons, San Diego, CA (USA) and in 2019 The paper for the 2014-2018 Most Influential Bioelectromagnetics Journal Paper Award. Preclinical and clinical research project lead at ministerial and regional level, in the field of bone and cartilage tissue regeneration. Inventors of patents in the field of Medical Devices for Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Speaker at national and international conferences. Author and co-author of 60 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Simona Salati graduated in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Modena with a mark of 110/110 cum laude. She obtained a PhD in Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Modena. She completed post-doctoral training in the laboratory directed by Dr Bhatia, at the Stem Cell and Cancer Research Institute, Canada. She worked as a researcher at the Stefano Ferrari Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Modena from 2009 to 2018. Author and co-author of over 30 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Ruggero Cadossi graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Modena, specialising in haematology.
From 1980 to 1998, he was a university researcher at the Medical Clinic of the University of Modena.
Founder of IGEA, of which he is Medical Director and Director of the Research and Development Department, since 2003 he has held the position of Chair.
Author and co-author of 90 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Matteo Cadossi graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Modena with a mark of 110/110 cum laude, specialised in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the University of Bologna with a mark of 70/70 cum laude.
He obtained his PhD at the University of Bologna on the topic of cartilage regeneration.
He worked as a specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology at the Rizzoli Orthopaedics Institute in Bologna from 2008 to 2017.
